Job summary

Hydrite is seeking a Technical Service Intern for Summer 2027 to gain practical experience in the food industry by working on a project with Dairy and Food customers on-site this June through August, 40 hours per week, with potential for off-shift work. Overnight work could be frequent and all business mileage is reimbursed at IRS rates.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will perform CIP validations, analyze wash cycles, prepare service reports, and contribute to profit improvements while

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in accredited university pursuing a BS degree in Food or Dairy Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel required.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Good presentation skills preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills preferred.
• Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Perform CIP validations at various food and dairy customer facilities.
• Analyze wash cycles and provide recommendations for time, cost, water and chemical savings.
• Assist with preparing written service/usage reports for customers/managers.
• Assist with providing continuous profit improvement opportunities for customers.
• Provide timely analysis for daily/weekly/monthly projects related to your study area.
