Job summary

The St. Joe Company is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Camp Creek Resort in Inlet Beach, FL. This full-time role oversees staff, maintains a 4-star/4-diamond service level, and ensures operations meet company standards while supporting the F&B Manager.

Responsibilities include training, guest relations, upselling, budgeting, and coordinating with engineering for maintenance. Strong leadership and hospitality background required.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education and literacy to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in basic English.
• 3 years’ experience in a supervisory F&B position preferred.
• Proven F&B management experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, restaurant management software, POS.
• ServSafe Certification (may obtain after employment).
• CPR and First Aid Certification (may obtain after employment).

Responsibilities

• Always maintain positive guest relations and resolve complaints promptly to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
• Anticipate and respond promptly to guest needs while maintaining positive guest relations.
• Ensure associates are familiar with menu, services, and local attractions; answer guest inquiries accurately.
• Educate associates on greetings and upselling techniques to increase profit margins.
• Train and supervise staff to maintain 4-star, 4-diamond service standards.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and review daily business information.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with procedures; correct deficiencies.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of work areas.
• Control labor costs by adjusting schedules based on business levels to optimize service.
• Process guest checks accurately in POS systems and maintain financial accountability.
