Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Part Time Food and Beverage Supervisor at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA. This role oversees suite and F&B operations, sets up portable bars, and assists with monthly inventory and concessions during events.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with at least 1 year in a bar/restaurant, strong communication, and customer service skills. Certs in ServSafe Allergens and alcohol training are preferred; position involves significant event interaction.

Qualifications

• ServSafe Allergens certificate and Alcohol Training certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Training of all suite attendants/barbacks.
• Overall assistance with all Food & Beverage areas including concessions and banquets.
• Communicate with suite customers to ensure all needs are met.
• Prepare tasks for function rooms/arena bar settings and side work lists.
• Maintain all suite/bar equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance.
• Involved in all food and beverage monthly reporting and inventory as assigned.
• Maintain a Health Department score of 90 or higher.
• Attention to detail and consistency in service.
• Position is hands-on with interaction with clients during events.
• Recordkeeping (Attendance, Event Reports, Staff Evaluations).
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Food & Beverage.

POSITION SUMMARY

This positionprimarilyoversees allSuite/Food and Beverageoperations which include making sure all suites are readyto be used. Position overseessetting up portable bars, breaking down portable bars, and assisting with monthly beverage inventory, assisting concession/warehouse needs, and assisting Banquet functionswhen there are limited Suite duties.This position also oversees all suite attendants, bartenders and barbacks in the absence of theFood and BeverageOutletsManager.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises all Part-time suite attendants, bartenders, barbacks, warehouse, andconcessionstand workers.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Knowledge of Excel and ability to learn other software

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED required

• At least one year experience ina bar/restaurant establishment

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Advanced oral and written communication skills

• Strong orientation to customer service and ability to work with other staff members in the facility

• Excellent organizational, planning, communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks

• Must be at least 18 years old

• ServSafe Allergen Certificate, and Alcohol Training Certificate.

HOURLY RATE: $22.00
