Job summary

SeaWorld in San Diego is seeking Ambassadors to lead and inspire a team, delivering guest experiences from the moment guests arrive. You will model the highest service standards and foster a positive atmosphere for guests, team members, and animals.

This role requires 18+, 1 year of food & beverage or related leadership, and the ability to lead in alcohol-serving areas. A valid driver's license is preferred; flexibility for weekends, events, and shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• 1 year of experience in food and beverage or similar high-volume leadership
• Able to lead and develop ambassadors
• Safety, guest service, attendance, cleanliness and wardrobe standards
• Able to work with ambassadors in areas that sell and serve alcohol
• Valid Driver’s license preferred
• Ability to complete Food Safety Manager certification and pass exam
• Lift, carry, push and pull up to 50lbs frequently
• Extensive walking and standing during shifts
• Occasional overhead reaching and climbing stairs and ladders
• Work indoors and outdoors in varied weather
• Perform cleaning duties with chemicals
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, catering events and evening hours
• Placement location may vary per business needs

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and counsel Ambassadors
• Perform the job duties you’re supervising
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all team members, guests, and animals
• Develop team members through training, feedback and coaching
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
• Assist leadership with supervision of planning, directing, and organizational needs of the department with a focus in Catering, Special Events and Consumer Events & Festivals
• Respond to guest and team member needs
• Assist leadership with scheduling, training, food ordering and equipment
