Job summary

Trinity Health in Greensboro, GA is seeking a part-time Food Service Associate to perform base-level tasks related to service fulfillment, disinfection and sanitation in patient-facing, ancillary or back-office areas. You will assist with meal orders, prep, serving and clean-up while following dietary guidelines and quality standards.

Minimum qualifications include Serve Safe Certification or within 6 months of hire, Food Handler Certification as per state requirements, and a HS Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Collect meal orders, prepare, assemble and serve food per dietary guidelines and quality standards

• Rotate and replenish floor stock and kitchen inventory to maintain par levels and reduce waste
• Clean dishes, utensils and work areas and report maintenance or safety issues
• Operate basic kitchen tools and ensure sanitation compliance
• Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines and monitor temperatures
• Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately

Functional Role (not inclusive of titles or advancement career progression)

• Collect meal orders, prepares, assembles, and serves food according to dietary guidelines and quality standards
• Handles more advanced prep and ensures items meet production tallies and deadlines
• Coordinates with cooks, supervisors, and clinical staff on food quality and equipment
• Rotates and replenishes floor stock, food supplies, and kitchen inventory to maintain par levels and reduce waste
• Cleans dishes, utensils, equipment, and work areas; ensures sanitation compliance and reports maintenance or safety issues
• Operates basic kitchen tools, cleans, and maintains equipment according to safety protocols
• Follows food safety and hygiene guidelines, monitors and records food and equipment temperatures to meet regulatory standards
• Operates point-of-sale systems, handles cash transactions accurately

Minimum Qualifications

Additional Qualifications (nice to have)

High School Diploma or GED. 1-2 year of customer service
