Job summary

St. Mary's Health Care System in Athens, GA is seeking a full-time Day Shift team member to support service fulfillment, disinfection and sanitation in patient-facing and back-office areas.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers trays following basic portion/menu guidelines.
• Performs simple prep (portioning, packaging).
• Communicates basic needs to team members and leaders.
• Rotates and replenishes floor stock, food supplies, and kitchen inventory to maintain par levels and reduce waste.
• Cleans dishes, utensils, equipment, and work areas; ensures sanitation compliance and reports maintenance or safety issues.
• Operates basic kitchen tools, cleans, and maintains equipment according to safety protocols.
• Follows food safety and hygiene guidelines, monitors and records food and equipment temperatures to meet regulatory standards.
• Operates point-of-sale systems, handles cash transactions accurately.
