Job summary

River Terrace Inn seeks a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our River Terrace Inn team in Napa. You will work closely with the Director of Outlets to ensure outstanding guest service, smooth daily operations, and high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

This is a full-time role with some weekend, holiday, and evening shifts. You will lead by example, support and train servers, and help maintain the restaurant’s ambience, reputation, and profitability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant, bar, or hotel F&B leadership experience.
• Knowledge of FOH operations, POS/reservation systems, and scheduling software.
• Food Handler and Alcohol Service certification required.
• Strong guest service, communication, and leadership skills.
• Flexible schedule; able to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant, bar, banquet, and event operations.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve issues promptly.
• Oversee POS, cash handling, openings/closings, and compliance.
• Coordinate banquet events, VIP experiences, and special functions.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members.
• Manage scheduling, labor costs, and operational systems.
• Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The RTI is located within walking distance of restaurants, the Culinary Institute of America, Oxbow Public Market, the Napa Valley Wine Train and many other fun filled attractions.
