Goal of the Restaurant Manager

Responsible for managing the daily opportunities required by strong leadership and overseeing the day-to-day operations of hotel outlets. This position is ultimately responsible for the quality of service provided.

Responsibilities include:
  • Supporting and managing hotel outlets in collaboration with the Food & Beverage Director and other departments
  • Planning short and long-term strategies for outlets, including the restaurant, lounge, in-room dining, and coffee store
  • Ensuring effective hiring, training, development, and promotion of staff
  • Leading and coaching teams to achieve exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction
  • Understanding and fostering associate engagement
  • Developing strategies for revenue growth and cost control
  • Managing budgets, marketing plans, and objectives within approved plans
  • Maintaining a high-energy, positive, professional appearance
  • Coordinating special events and holiday functions
  • Taking initiative to operate outlets as independent entities

Restaurant Managers are key members of the hotel's Food and Beverage team, working alongside the Banquet Manager, Executive Steward, and Director of Operations. Experience in these areas can lead to advancement to Assistant Food & Beverage Director.

The salary range for this position is $71,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience.
