Job summary

NAOVI (Novel Applications, Inc.) is seeking a Journeyman FOIA Redaction Analyst to support FOIA, PA, MDR and ADR, requiring an active TS/SCI with CI poly and U.S. citizenship. This 100% onsite role is located in the Northern Virginia area with travel reimbursement.

The position emphasizes accuracy, high-quality writing, and strict compliance with government procedures while coordinating with internal IC components and external agencies to ensure timely case closures.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI or FS poly; sponsorship not offered.
• Minimum BS/BA with 5 years of related FOIA/PA/MDR/ADR experience, or 9+ years without a degree.
• Strong written communication and precise document handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to FOIA, PA, MDR, and ADR requests for release of information.
• Handle complex FOIA cases including litigation and appeals.
• Conduct MDR and ADR in accordance with EO 13526.
• Coordinate taskings and document collection across IC components.
• Validate record search adequacy and document actions.
• Review case files to ensure complete actions and proper docs.
• Monitor progress and meet deadlines with stakeholders.
• Prepare final response letters and close cases within timelines.
• Inputs to annual compliance reports as directed by Government.
