Job summary

Peraton seeks a FOIA Redaction Analyst to support an IC customer onsite in McLean, VA. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and a BS/BA plus 5 years or 9+ years without a degree. You will manage FOIA/PA requests, MDR/ADR reviews, and complex appeals, coordinating with government leaders to ensure accurate, timely responses.

The position emphasizes high-quality, error-free drafting and strict adherence to deadlines using IC systems and standard case-management tools.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and a degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting FOIA, PA, MDR, and/or ADR processing and coordination.
• Ability to draft, review, and handle sensitive government communications.

Responsibilities

• Respond to FOIA/PA requests for release of classified or sensitive information.
• Handle complex cases including FOIA litigation and appeals with exemptions knowledge.
• Conduct MDR/ADR reviews per EO 13526.
• Coordinate taskings across IC components and external agencies.
• Ensure case searches are adequate and properly documented.
• Monitor progress and meet deadlines; minimize need for edits.
