Common Bond Bistro & Bakery in Houston, TX is seeking a Front-of-House Supervisor to work with the General Manager. The ideal candidate is committed to guest satisfaction, maintains high standards, and supports a fast-paced service environment.

You will greet guests, supervise front-of-house operations, ensure accurate orders, uphold sanitation, train staff, and collaborate across teams. Flexibility with hours and a professional appearance are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn quickly.
• Food handler’s and TABC certification where required by local and state health code regulations
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers with a smile and understand their needs through clear communication.
• Maintain knowledge of baked goods and the menu.
• Supervise the front-of-house to uphold standards of excellence and hospitality.
• Respond to guest complaints professionally and take actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
• Inform the General Manager of shortages before items run out.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and cleanliness and maintain dining areas.
• Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality service.
• Maintain restaurant image, including cleanliness, uniforms, and appearance standards.
• Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and establishing performance expectations.
• Take orders from guests and package all retail items and bread orders efficiently.
• Run food and drinks to customers in a timely fashion.
• Rotate stock using FIFO method.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
• Available to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• Meet store policies and standards, including quality beverages and food products, cash handling and safety.
• Prepare and package foods/beverages to high-quality standard recipes and adjust recipes as needed.
• Perform many different tasks within the store during each shift.
• Additional duties as assigned.
