Job summary

BakeChop Co. is seeking an experienced FOH Manager for Hunters & Gatherers to lead on the floor, behind the bar, and during service. This working manager role focuses on serving and bartending shifts with two manager/float days weekly to support the entire floor and guest experience.

You’ll oversee service, coach the team in real time, raise standards, and handle guest needs while maintaining a positive culture and smooth shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in bartending is a MUST.
• Strong serving and full-service restaurant background.

• Calm under high-volume service with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Work regular serving and bartending shifts while stepping into a management/float role about two days weekly.
• Oversee service, support bar and floor, touch tables and address guest concerns in real time.
• Coach the team, maintain sidework and standards, ensure guests receive expected hospitality.
• Read the room, anticipate needs, and jump in before asked to keep service smooth.

Job description

Hunters & Gatherers is looking for an experienced, hospitality driven FOH Manager to join our team.

This is a working manager position. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves being on the floor, behind the bar, taking care of guests, and leading a team by example.

This role will primarily work serving and bartending shifts, with approximately 2 manager/float shifts per week focused on supporting the entire floor, helping the team through busy service, handling guest needs, and keeping the shift running smoothly.

• Strong bartending experience is a MUST

• Heavy hospitality background with a genuine love for taking care of guests
• Comfortable working a busy bar and high volume service
• Confident leading servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff

THE ROLE

You’ll work regular serving and bartending shifts while also stepping into a management/float role approximately two days per week.

On management shifts, you’ll help oversee service, support the bar and floor, touch tables, handle guest concerns, coach the team in real time, keep sidework and standards on track, and make sure our guests are receiving the level of hospitality we expect.

We’re looking for someone who can read a room, anticipate what the team needs, and jump in before they have to be asked.
