Job summary

BAKECHOP Co. operates Hunters & Gatherers and is seeking an experienced Bartender to join the FOH team. You will manage a busy bar, craft cocktails, and create seasonal specials while delivering outstanding hospitality.

The role emphasizes creativity in drink development, seasonal ingredients, and contributing ideas to the bar program, with a focus on personality, urgency, and guest service.

Qualifications

• Strong bartending experience is required.

Hunters & Gatherers is looking for an experienced Bartender to join our FOH team.

We are looking for someone who can truly hold down a busy bar, give great hospitality, and bring some creativity to the position.

This is more than just making drinks. We want someone who is comfortable creating cocktail specials, developing new drinks, working with seasonal ingredients, and contributing ideas to the bar program.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong bartending experience is REQUIRED
• Full service restaurant experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
• Comfortable creating cocktails and developing drink specials
• Creative and excited to contribute new ideas
• Comfortable working with seasonal ingredients, fresh juices, syrups, garnishes, and house recipes
• Able to execute cocktails consistently and accurately
• Comfortable working a busy, high volume bar
• Strong hospitality and guest service skills
• Fast, organized, and able to multitask
• Comfortable taking food orders and serving guests at the bar
• Able to keep a clean, stocked, organized bar throughout service
• Reliable, professional, and team oriented
• Someone who sees what needs to be done and jumps in

THE ROLE

You’ll be responsible for taking care of bar guests, making cocktails for the restaurant, taking food and beverage orders, building regulars, keeping the bar stocked and organized, and supporting the FOH team throughout service.

We also want someone who is excited to be involved creatively. You’ll have opportunities to help develop seasonal cocktails, limited specials, themed drinks, and new ideas for the bar.

We want someone with personality, urgency, creativity, attention to detail, and real hospitality experience.
