Job summary

BakeChop Co's Hunters & Gatherers is seeking an experienced bartender to join our front-of-house team. You will craft cocktails for a busy restaurant, take beverage and food orders, build regulars, and keep the bar stocked and organized.

We value personality, urgency, creativity, attention to detail, and real hospitality experience, with opportunities to develop seasonal cocktails, limited specials, and themed drinks for the bar program.

Qualifications

• Strong bartending experience is required.
• Full service restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
• Comfortable creating cocktails and developing drink specials.
• Comfortable working with seasonal ingredients and house recipes.
• Reliable, professional, and team oriented.
• Fast, organized, and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

Job description

Hunters amp; Gatherers is looking for an experienced Bartender to join our FOH team.

We are looking for someone who can truly hold down a busy bar, give great hospitality, and bring some creativity to the position.

This is more than just making drinks. We want someone who is comfortable creating cocktail specials, developing new drinks, working with seasonal ingredients, and contributing ideas to the bar program.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong bartending experience is REQUIRED
• Full service restaurant experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
• Comfortable creating cocktails and developing drink specials
• Creative and excited to contribute new ideas
• Comfortable working with seasonal ingredients, fresh juices, syrups, garnishes, and house recipes
• Able to execute cocktails consistently and accurately
• Comfortable working a busy, high volume bar
• Strong hospitality and guest service skills
• Fast, organized, and able to multitask
• Comfortable taking food orders and serving guests at the bar
• Able to keep a clean, stocked, organized bar throughout service
• Reliable, professional, and team oriented
• Someone who sees what needs to be done and jumps in

THE ROLE

You’ll be responsible for taking care of bar guests, making cocktails for the restaurant, taking food and beverage orders, building regulars, keeping the bar stocked and organized, and supporting the FOH team throughout service.

We also want someone who is excited to be involved creatively. You’ll have opportunities to help develop seasonal cocktails, limited specials, themed drinks, and new ideas for the bar.
