Job summary

Grandview Café in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced and motivated Manager to oversee daily operations of the bar, lead a team of bartenders, servers, and support staff, and drive exceptional guest experiences while collaborating with the General Manager on cocktails and events.

The role requires 2–4 years FOH/bartending and at least 1 year in Front of House management, strong leadership and cost-control skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 2-4 years of Front of House/Bartending experience.
• At least 1 year of Front of House management experience.
• Strong cocktail knowledge and passion for the beverage industry.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Understanding of inventory management and cost control.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily FOH operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Lead bartenders, servers, and support staff.
• Manage inventory and coordinate with General Manager on cocktails and events.
• Run opening/closing duties and maintain cash handling.
• Enforce uniform, cleanliness, and Steps of Service.
• Address guest concerns and uphold brand standards.
• Assist with re-fired orders and guest service.
