Job summary

HoneyFire BBQ in the Greater Nashville area is seeking an experienced FOH Manager to lead the front-of-house operations for a new location. You will shape the guest experience by ensuring a clean dining room, high service standards, and a welcoming atmosphere.

You will interview and hire bar and waitstaff, train servers, bartenders, hosts, and bussers, and supervise shift planning to meet demand while handling guest concerns with poise.

Qualifications

• Previous FOH Manager experience essential.
• Experience opening a new location.

Job description

The FOH Manager will oversee all FOH operations at the new restaurant located in South Nashville/Williamson County. Our heart for all manager's is that they lead by example and create an encouraging and caring environment. The FOH Manager will shape a restaurant-goer’s experience by keeping the FOH dining room clean/tidy, hiring and training quality staff, and ensuring good customer service. Previous FOH Manager experience is essential as you will be leading the charge when it comes to opening a new location and training a new team on all things Front of House.

Job Duties

• Interview and hire for a restaurant’s bar and waitstaff. Ability to develop a specialized hiring process to meet a restaurant’s needs.
• Manage the training of the servers, bartenders, hosts, and bussers to meet the specific needs of the restaurant.
• Supervise Upkeep of Guest Areas by directing staff to attend to messes or accidents as well as personally assisting in cleanup.
• Responsible for shift planning using the scheduling systems to assign waitstaff based on anticipated demand. Ability to direct staff to handle unexpected situations and customer concerns throughout a shift as needed.
