Job summary

Skyview is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to assist the General Manager with front-of-house operations at Norman, the Skyview restaurant. You will help train FOH staff, ensure brand standards, and drive guest satisfaction across service, beverage, and events.

You will supervise daily operations, maintain service flow, and work with management to optimize guest experience while ensuring health and safety standards and adherence to budget.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of prior supervisory experience required.
• Previous service experience in a full-service food and beverage operation.
• Must be at least 21 years of age in accordance with California law governing the preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
• Must possess a valid Responsible Beverage Service certification or have the ability to obtain within 60 days of employment.
• Must possess a valid Food Handlers Card or the ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash, process payments, and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations, opening and closing.
• Maintain flow of service and ensure brand standards of guest experience.
• Train FOH staff and provide ongoing education.
• Lead weekly meetings and communicate inventory needs.
• Respond to guest feedback and reviews professionally.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Manage ordering within budget and coordinate with Chef for produce.
• Update POS and OpenTable and ensure timely end-of-day reporting.
