Job summary

Owens Corning in Russellville, AR is seeking a Material Planner to manage finished goods, raw materials, packaging, and direct materials, ensuring lowest-cost supply chain solutions while maximizing customer satisfaction.

You will partner with plant operations on production schedules, maintain SAP data, prepare weekly updates, and drive continuous improvement in service and inventory accuracy. This is an on-site role supporting Foam materials initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business or a related field.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to influence peers.

Responsibilities

• Live the Safety standard and adhere to safety responsibilities.
• Adjust and optimize inventory strategies to align with Foam business goals.
• Maintain alignment with production resources to support planning and procurement of materials.
• Serve as supply chain liaison for operations and external suppliers.
• Coordinate activities across supply chain, including logistics and data.
• Provide timely information, analytics, and performance evaluations.
• Create and maintain SAP master data and info records.
• Participate in kaizen teams for product rollouts and productivity projects.
