is seeking a materials planner to support lean manufacturing by coordinating raw material planning, scheduling, and supplier communication to ensure on-time delivery and production efficiency. This onsite role integrates with sales, manufacturing, and logistics to meet customer demands. The successful candidate will manage the master production schedule, analyze forecasts, and collaborate with purchasing and engineering to optimize inventory and production flow at our Appleton,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, will consider experience in lieu of degree.
• 3 years related experience.
• Experience in SAP and other transportation management systems preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and work under time/date driven deadlines.
• Analytical, proactive problem solving and strong customer orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing production schedules and work orders.
• Acts as a liaison with sales, manufacturing and logistics to meet customer needs.
• Works with purchasing to resolve supplier material availability and quality issues.
• Identifies and communicates material supply issues affecting schedules.
• Maintains master production schedule and adjusts for changes in demand.
• Enters orders into master schedule based on delivery dates and materials.
• Collaborates with engineers to determine equipment and tooling needs.
• Monitors forecasts and adjusts master schedules accordingly.
• Coordinates material shipments with internal and external logistics.
• Provides backup coverage for Inventory/Warehouse and Transportation roles.
