Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Materials Planner to manage raw material purchasing, scheduling, and production support at the Oshkosh plant. You will lead material planning activities, monitor SAP transactions, and coordinate with procurement and production teams to meet delivery targets and optimize inventory.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to cost savings and process improvements within a safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management or related field.
• 3–5 years scheduling/manufacturing experience including inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing/accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage all purchase orders for raw material films/resin; check lead times and ready dates for customer ship dates.
• Enter orders and data in SAP to support customer orders and production schedules.
• Monitor planning of production orders to meet inventory objectives and delivery expectations.
• Coordinate transfer of required raw materials among plant operations and with other plants as needed.
• Support cost saving and process improvement initiatives (WCOM) and participate in production meetings.
