Rheem North America is seeking a Material Planner II to maintain adequate levels of raw materials and components to support production requirements. The role focuses on MRP reliability and cross-functional collaboration, based in Montgomery, AL, onsite.

You will monitor min/max levels, drive inventory turns, review obsolete materials, and coordinate with suppliers. Strong ERP/MRP and Lean/JIT knowledge are essential for optimizing material flow and meeting production demands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years related experience in material planning.
• Experience with MRP systems and ERP planning.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Maintain min/max reorder levels for raw materials and components.
• Analyze inventory to maximize turns.
• Review dormant/obsolete materials monthly.
• Update supplier forecasts quarterly.
• Support BOM accuracy and supplier performance.
• Communicate material issues in production meetings.
• Assist in Lean and JIT implementations.
