Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a FMLA Medical Leave Administrator to coordinate and administer all aspects of the Family and Medical Leave Act, and related leave processes. You will ensure compliance with policies and federal/state regulations while partnering with HR and Employee Health.

In this full-time role, you will manage casework, review medical documentation, determine eligibility, maintain HIPAA privacy, enter data into HRIS, and provide excellent service

Qualifications

• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP credentials preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all leaves; educates employees and managers on the leave process and policies.
• Interprets and administers leave programs in line with federal and state laws.
• Ensures timely submission of medical documentation and coordinates return-to-work with Employee Health.
• Determines eligibility, prepares correspondence, and tracks leave cases and timekeeping.
• Maintains HIPAA/privacy controls and coordinates with Employee Health on STD/Worker's Compensation as needed.
• Enters leave data into HRIS and produces reports on leave metrics.

Education

PHR/SPHR/SHRM credentials (preferred)

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
