Job summary

SunSource is seeking a Fluid Power Outside Sales Account Manager for the Cincinnati, OH area. You will develop new business with support from a skilled service team and managers to help you meet sales goals. A competitive mindset and entrepreneurial spirit are desired.

The role emphasizes building relationships, solving technical problems, and driving revenue growth through strategic territory management and proactive prospecting. Travel may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or 2-year technical degree in Fluid Power or related field.
• Fluid Power certification is preferred.
• 2+ years in industrial or technical sales, with at least 1 year in fluid power.
• Experience with fluid power products and systems.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Work with your Manager to create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts
• Full cycle prospecting: qualification, cold calls, and sales presentations
• Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams to meet goals
• Utilize CRM tools to plan and manage time and territory
