Job summary

SunSource in Ohio is seeking a relationship-driven sales professional specializing in fluid power component repair services. You will develop new business and grow partnerships across Eastern Ohio and Western PA, traveling to customer sites and providing hands-on solutions.

The role emphasizes full-cycle sales, territory planning, and collaboration with service and technical teams. A high school diploma and 2+ years in industrial sales are preferred, with CRM proficiency and a willingness to

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or bachelor's degree preferred (fluid power or related).
• Fluid Power Certification preferred but not required.
• 2+ years of industrial sales experience (hydraulic service and repair sales preferred).
• Experience with hydraulic equipment rebuilding/repair is a plus.
• Proven ability to build relationships and meet sales goals.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the territory.
• On-site customer visits with ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory sales plan with your manager.
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities.
• Manage and grow existing customer relationships.
• Conduct full-cycle prospecting, including lead qualification and cold calling.
• Make regular on-site visits to understand needs and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams.
• Use CRM and sales tools to plan time, territory, and pipeline.
