Applied Industrial Technologies in Sparks, NV is seeking a Fluid Power MRO Specialist to serve as a local technical fluid power expert and business development partner with our Account Managers. You will engage high-potential accounts, review installed solutions, and present fluid power options to customers.

The role focuses on problem solving, technical training, and collaboration with suppliers to drive new business and customer success in the assigned region.

Qualifications

• 3+ years fluid power experience (hydraulic and/or pneumatic).
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a desire to learn.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and system schematics.
• Clear communication of technical concepts to multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Cooperate with local sales teams to identify high potential accounts and pursue sales and profit goals.
• Serve as local, technical fluid power expert for the region and coordinate with internal teams and customers.
• Prepare and present fluid power solutions, including reviewing plans and customer documents to develop technical proposals.
• Conduct fluid power training for internal staff and customers to share knowledge and demonstrate value.
• Build relationships with supplier resources to specify products and systems enhancing performance.
• Coordinate projects with US Service Center personnel to ensure project success.
• Contribute to the Fluid Power knowledge base with applications, case histories and market activity.
