Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies, a leading fluid power distributor, seeks a Fluid Power MRO Specialist to engage with local US Service Center teams and act as the regional technical expert. You will build relationships with customers, prepare technical proposals, and drive new business through collaborative problem solving.

The role emphasizes training, solution design, and cross-functional coordination, contributing to customer performance and company growth across assigned territory.

Qualifications

• 3+ years fluid power experience including practical applications (hydraulic and/or pneumatic).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and system schematics.
• Clear communication of technical thoughts and solutions to multiple levels.
• Proficient with MS Office and remote collaboration tools.
• Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred or extensive fluid power experience.

Responsibilities

• Cooperatively create and execute an engagement plan with local US Service Center sales teams to identify high potential accounts.
• Act as local, technical fluid power expert in the region and facilitate supplier interactions.
• Prepare and present fluid power solutions and technical proposals from reviews of drawings and customer documents.
• Conduct fluid power training for internal staff and customers to increase knowledge and demonstrate value.
• Develop relationships with supplier resources to specify products and systems that enhance customer performance.
