Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies, the world's largest fluid power distributor, seeks a Fluid Power MRO Specialist to define and offer technical solutions to customers. You will work as a local technical expert, partnering with Account Managers in US Service Centers to grow our business through high-potential accounts and technical engagement.

The role emphasizes drawing on 3+ years of fluid power experience, strong communication, and the ability to train customers and internal staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years fluid power experience including practical applications (hydraulic and/or pneumatic).
• Strong mechanical aptitude; IFPS certification preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and system schematics.
• Clear communication of technical thoughts to multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Cooperatively create and execute an engagement plan with local US Service Center sales teams identifying high potential accounts.
• Act as local, technical fluid power expert in assigned region for internal sales and customers.
• Prepare and present fluid power solutions by reviewing installed solutions, drawings, and plans for proposals.
• Conduct fluid power training for internal associates and customers to increase knowledge and value.
