Qualifications

• Industrial outside-sales experience required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and grow the customer base.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review sales and market information to determine the sales potential of customers.
• Recommend products to customers based on needs and interests.
• Contact current and prospective customers to grow business relationships and the Hydradyne brand.
• Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids to meet specific needs of customers.
• Meet with customers to demonstrate and explain features and benefits of products and services.
• Obtain credit information on prospective customers.
• Answer questions about products, prices, and quality, durability and credit terms.
• Prepare lists of prospective customers, call reports, and other reports as required.
• Close sale contracts or forms to record sales information.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
• Oversee delivery or installation of products to equipment.
