Job summary

Herzing University is seeking a Clinical Placement & Compliance Coordinator to support the execution of clinical placement and compliance activities. You will coordinate student clinical placements, maintain documentation, and provide operational support to ensure students are prepared and eligible to participate in clinical coursework.

The role supports the Florida region with standard business hours and occasional evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2 years' experience required working in clinical, healthcare, office/auditing, or higher education setting.
• Prior experience in clinical coordination, healthcare administration, higher education operations, or related fields preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical education environments, regulatory requirements, or accreditation standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate student clinical placements in accordance with established timelines to ensure preparedness for clinical coursework.
• Maintain accurate placement records to ensure clinical experiences fulfill required hours, within established timelines, and in accordance with university procedures.
• Evaluate placement capacity and determine appropriate student assignments based on program and site requirements.
• Provide guidance to students regarding clinical requirements, timelines, and progression.
• Prioritize competing placement issues based on program needs, risk and stakeholder impact.
• Follow protocols with affiliated clinical sites when requesting placement and assigning students.
• Assess placement challenges and determine solutions, escalating complex issues to leadership.
