Job summary

Herzing University is seeking a Clinical Placement & Compliance Coordinator to support clinical placement and compliance activities within the Florida region. The coordinator will ensure timely student placement, maintain accurate documentation, and serve as a liaison among students, faculty, clinical partners, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2 years' experience in clinical, healthcare, office/auditing, or higher education setting.
• Prior experience in clinical coordination, healthcare administration, higher education operations, or related fields preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical education environments, regulatory requirements, or accreditation standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate student clinical placements in accordance with established timelines to ensure preparedness for clinical coursework.
• Maintain accurate placement records to ensure clinical experiences fulfill required hours, within timelines, and in accordance with procedures.
• Evaluate placement capacity and determine appropriate student assignments based on program/site requirements.
• Provide guidance to students regarding clinical requirements, timelines, and progression, and exercise judgment to support outcomes.
• Prioritize competing placement issues based on program needs, risk, and stakeholder impact.
• Follow site protocols when requesting placement and assigning students to experiences.
• Assess placement challenges and escalate to leadership as needed.
