Job summary

Herzing University is seeking a Clinical Placement & Compliance Coordinator to oversee student clinical placements, monitor compliance requirements, and coordinate documentation across campuses. This role reports to the Director of Clinical Placement & Compliance and supports operational needs for timely placement and regulatory adherence.

The position primarily supports the Florida region with standard business hours and occasional after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2 years' experience required working in clinical, healthcare, office/auditing, or higher education setting.
• Prior experience in clinical coordination, healthcare administration, higher education operations, or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate student clinical placements to ensure preparedness for clinical coursework within established timelines.
• Maintain accurate placement records to ensure hours meet requirements and site procedures.
• Evaluate capacity and assign students based on program/site needs.
• Provide guidance to students on requirements, timelines, and progression.
• Follow site protocols when requesting placements and assignments.
• Track and escalate compliance issues to leadership as needed.
• Support compliance processes to ensure deadlines are met and documentation is accurate.
• Communicate expectations and status updates to students and faculty.
• Collaborate with faculty and clinical teams to align placement and compliance activities.
• Document student status updates to ensure visibility of reporting.
