Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a department-based associate to create outstanding customer experiences and maintain a safe, clean environment. You will assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals and ensure quality standards are met across the store.

• Monitor sanitation to company standards and health department regulations.
• Order and maintain stock and supplies, monitor conditions and appearance.
• Merchandise and display products to increase sales.
• Implement price changes and monitor scan integrity.
• Monitor product quality and remove poor quality product.
• Control and monitor inventory throughout the department and maintain records.
• Communicate with vendors and monitor inventory received.
• Implement company programs and communicate procedures to team members.
• Review display planners and implement company guidelines.
• Prepare and hang signs as needed.
• Prepare for and perform inventory.
• Attend required classes and meetings.
• Review department statements and follow up on discrepancies.
• Communicate information to upper management and store personnel.
• Review department bulletins and implement programs.
• Complete required forms.
• Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures.
• Practice preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and notifying management of repairs.
• Notify management of customer or employee accidents.
• Report safety risks, theft or fraud.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
