Job Title: Floral Assistant

Reports Directly To: Floral Department Manager

Job Objective

This entry-level position involves assisting the Floral Manager in daily store operations and customer service.

Major Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Greet and thank every customer
• Assist the Floral Manager with daily duties
• Follow company trim standards
• Receive trucks and organize deliveries into coolers
• Adhere to safety guidelines and report safety issues
• Rotate stock items regularly
• Use markdown coupons for close-dated products
• Properly use merchandising areas to promote sales

Physical and Functional Requirements

Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes occasionally and exert force frequently. Must have dexterous use of both hands, stand, move between stations, and handle tools safely. Ability to work on slippery floors and perform physical tasks like lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling is required.
