Job summary

Lendbuzz is seeking a Floorplan Sales Associate to grow our dealer network and support our floorplan operations team. You will educate, prospect, and cultivate relationships with independent and franchise dealers to expand our financing solutions.

You will work closely with credit, risk, and funding teams, traveling to dealer sites as needed and staying informed on industry trends to advise on strategy and credit needs. A driven, customer-focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in floorplan finance (inventory financing, dealer lending, automotive finance).
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a competitive market.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt sales strategies to economic/political challenges.
• Self-starter with a passion for sales and customer success.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of independent and franchise automotive dealers using floorplan financing solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to dealers, identifying financing needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Analyze dealer performance and usage trends to propose credit increases, restructuring, or product enhancements.
• Drive utilization of existing credit lines and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities to maximize revenue.
• Overcome objections and provide consultative support to dealers facing economic or market challenges.
• Conduct in-person dealer visits and virtual check-ins to maintain strong, service-oriented relationships.
• Collaborate with credit, risk, and funding teams to ensure smooth dealer onboarding and account management.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory impacts, and shifts affecting dealer operations.
