gpac is seeking a Flooring Sales Team Leader to oversee showroom operations in Des Moines, IA and drive revenue growth.

You will lead, coach, and develop the sales team, maintain active client relationships with builders, designers, and contractors, and coordinate with installers to ensure top-quality project execution. Compensation includes base salary and benefits with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of flooring sales and/or management experience required.
• Proven ability to drive sales and close business.
• Experience leading and developing sales professionals.
• Strong knowledge of flooring products and installation.
• Experience measuring projects and understanding installation procedures.
• Blueprint and takeoff experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with CRM/software systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead showroom operations and sales performance
• Maintain an active sales role and drive revenue growth
• Coach, onboard, and train sales team members
• Coordinate with installers to ensure strong project execution
• Support residential, multifamily, custom home, and smaller commercial flooring projects
• Build relationships with builders, contractors, designers, property managers, and local businesses
• Stay active in Home Builders Associations, networking groups, trade events, and the local business community
• Resolve customer concerns and maintain strong relationships
