Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking Sales Associates to provide friendly, accurate service and help customers find products for their projects.

Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available on our sales floor, with a focus on fast-paced, safe operations and a strong emphasis on teamwork and customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates are 18+, have basic math skills, previous customer service experience, and the ability to multi-task under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Some positions may require forklift certifications through F&D.
• Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires successful passing of a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations when assisting customers.
• Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure it is clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Follow cash, check and credit card procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Act in line with company values and safety processes.
• Answer telephone according to guidelines.
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
