Qualifications

• Previous sales experience is important, flooring experience not required.
• Ideal candidate has experience in sales, business development, or account management.
• Confident initiating conversations and prospecting for new customers.
• Enjoys building relationships and asking for the sale.
• Motivated by goals, results, and earning potential.
• Takes initiative rather than waiting for customers to come to them.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Can manage multiple customers and sales opportunities independently.
• Comfortable learning new products and sales technology.
• Experience in B2B sales or related industries is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Sell showroom products and develop new business in the Racine market.
• Generate new business by identifying and connecting with potential customers (contractors, builders, property managers, local businesses, homeowners).
• Build relationships through calls, referrals, networking, and direct outreach to develop long-term accounts.
• Guide customers through product selection, estimates, proposals, and purchasing decisions.
• Follow up on leads and quotes to move opportunities toward a sale.
• Schedule occasional off-site meetings and networking opportunities.
• Coordinate with showroom, measuring, and installation teams to ensure smooth projects.
