Job summary

Gulf Coast Flooring & Services in Houston, TX is hiring a Project Coordinator to keep commercial flooring jobs supplied, scheduled and documented. This role supports Project Managers and Superintendents by confirming products, quantities, lead times, staging deliveries and tracking submittals and change orders.

You will manage materials before release, chase stock, coordinate warehouse logistics, keep files and the project system up to date, and participate in internal meetings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of flooring products and installation materials.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Able to follow through and coordinate with teams to meet schedules.

Responsibilities

• Confirm materials before job release: product, color, quantity, dye lot, adhesives, underlayment, transitions, trim and sundries.
• Chase lead times and stock, flag shortages before impact to crews.
• Coordinate with the warehouse to stage, load and deliver materials ahead of install date.
• Prepare and track submittals, work orders and change orders for flooring scopes.
• Keep project files clean: cut sheets, installation specs, moisture tests and warranty docs.
• Maintain the project system so estimators, superintendents and PMs see the same information.
• Attend internal project meetings, capture decisions and follow up to completion.
