Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Flooring Solutions Technician 1 to join our team. This role coordinates with leadership to provide an exemplary level of service, operating and repairing equipment and maintaining safety standards on the job site.

You will assist with loading/unloading, cleaning, and prep for rent-ready status. A high school diploma and 1–3 years of mechanic experience are required, along with owner ship of mechanic tools and strong troubleshooting skills to succeed in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of mechanic experience with IC engines, propane, electrical, and hydraulic experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• Must provide mechanic's tools of trade and have strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs check-ins and minor repairs when equipment is returned to the shop.
• Assists with loading and unloading of equipment as needed.
• Cleans, pressure washes, and preps equipment for repairs and rent-ready status.
• Maintains safe work environment and performs duties in accordance with safety standards.
• Keeps records and maintains company vehicle and equipment, including washing and maintenance.
