Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Flooring Solutions Technician 1 to join our team. You will coordinate with leadership to provide exceptional service, demonstrate skills in operating and setting up all company equipment, and maintain a professional appearance and communication on site.

Responsibilities include check-ins, minor repairs, loading/unloading, cleaning, preventive maintenance, inventory tracking, and coordinating deliveries and service calls with customers.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of mechanic experience with IC engines, propane, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• High school diploma or GED; trade school preferred.
• Must provide mechanic's tools and strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs check-ins and minor repairs when equipment is returned to the shop.
• Assists with loading and unloading of equipment as needed.
• Cleans, pressure washes, and preps equipment for repairs and rent-ready status.
• Performs full-service maintenance and diagnoses simple mechanical problems.
• Maintains a safe work environment and records service activity.
• Delivers and installs rented equipment and trains operators on safe use.
• On call for emergency service on weekends and evenings.
