Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in Groveport, OH is seeking a Flooring Solutions Technician 1 to support our service team by operating, setting up, and repairing equipment; maintaining safety and professionalism on every job site. You will perform check-ins, minor repairs, maintenance, and prepare gear for rent, while coordinating deliveries and keeping accurate records.

Requirements include 1–3 years of mechanical experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work independently on a rotating

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of mechanic experience with IC engines, propane, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent trouble-shooting skills.
• Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess a high degree of safety-awareness.

Responsibilities

• Performs check-ins and minor repairs when equipment is returned to the shop.
• Assists with loading and unloading of equipment as needed.
• Cleans, pressure washes, and preps equipment for repairs and rent-ready status.
• Performs full-service maintenance and diagnoses simple mechanical problems.
• Maintains safe work environment and safety standards.
• Keeps track of rental equipment and coordinates deliveries, pick-ups and service calls.
