Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Flooring Solutions Technician 1 to coordinate with leadership, demonstrate professional service, and operate essential equipment with safety and efficiency. The role involves cleaning, maintenance, minor repairs, and ensuring rentals are ready for customers.

Responsibilities include check-ins, loading/unloading, detailing equipment, performing maintenance, tracking inventory, and scheduling deliveries.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of mechanic experience with IC engines, propane, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent trouble-shooting skills; able to prioritize and work independently.
• Must maintain high safety-awareness and follow safety requirements.
• Trade school or equivalent training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform check-ins and minor repairs when equipment is returned to the shop.
• Assist with loading/unloading of equipment and prep for rentals.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs to avoid downtime.
• Diagnose simple mechanical problems and perform full-service maintenance.
• Coordinate deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls with customers; maintain logs and records.
• Operate company vehicle safely and maintain a valid driver’s license.
