Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Service Technician for the Flooring and Facilities Solutions Division. You will maintain and repair rental flooring equipment, demonstrate equipment to customers, and assist with pickups and parts delivery. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of electrical equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with tools relevant to the position.
• Superior customer service and teamwork skills.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. frequently.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance checks on rental flooring equipment before and after use.
• Report machine condition to management.
• Perform repairs on rental flooring equipment as needed and check electrical continuity.
• Demonstrate equipment to customers.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
