Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, answer questions, and help shoppers find the right products for their home improvement projects. You’ll work across departments, assist with merchandise placement, and ensure orders are processed accurately for on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes friendly, professional service, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to daily store needs, including occasional movement of merchandise and POS use.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and inputting information.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology like smartphones and tablets.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic.
• Ability to stand/sit for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to support customer service quality.
• Prepare department merchandise for customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood, drywall).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
