Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate to warmly welcome customers and assist with finding products and services for home improvement projects in a busy retail environment. You will engage with customers throughout the day, answer questions, and help them complete purchases, while maintaining store appearance and product availability.

The role includes opportunities to learn across departments, participate in store initiatives, and take advantage of Lowe’s benefits, discounts, and growth

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer.
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic.
• Ability to perform duties with standing/sitting for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time receipt of merchandise.
• Cross-train in other areas to support customer service excellence.
• Prepare department-specific merchandise (e.g., paint tinting, pipe work, wood cutting).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
