Job summary

HES is hiring a full-time Floor Tech at our Baton Rouge, LA location. The role focuses on carpet cleaning and floor finishing, with duties spanning bonnet and extraction cleaning, scrubbing, sealing, waxing, and spray buffing of various floors.

Ideal candidates will have prior floor tech experience, be able to lift up to 70 pounds, and work well in a team-driven, fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols and operating cleaning equipment responsibly.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
• Excellent work history
• Physically demanding fast-paced environment requiring ability to work efficiently with attention to detail
• Education: High school degree preferred, but not required.
• Experience: Previous floor tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carpet cleaning, scrubbing, stripping, sealing, waxing, and spray buffing hard surface floors.
• Operate high/low speed buffers up to 24 inch and 3000 RPM burnishing equipment.
• Follow established safety precautions and maintain all floor cleaning/finishing equipment.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.
