Job summary

HES is seeking a 2nd Shift Floor Tech/General Cleaner for Florence 1 Schools. The role involves cleaning and maintaining school facilities, including carpet care and floor finishing, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Candidates must be able to commute and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and operating buffers and carpet equipment. Background checks are required and team collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications Education: High school degree preferred, but not required.
• Experience: Previous cleaning experience a plus.
• Physical and Working Conditions: Able to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull; able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning restrooms and locker rooms.
• Carpet cleaning, floor scrubbing, stripping, sealing, waxing, and spray buffing of hard floors.
• Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment and related tools.
• Follow safety precautions and report issues to custodial supervisor.
