Job summary

HES is hiring Floor Technicians for the Ladue School District in the Kansas City area. Shift: Mon–Fri, 5pm–1:30am; duties include carpet cleaning (bonnet and extraction), scrubbing, stripping, sealing, waxing, and spray buffing hard surface floors.

Candidates must be able to operate floor buffers and burnishing equipment up to 24 inches, follow safety rules, lift up to 70 pounds, and have reliable transportation. High school diploma preferred.

• Experience with carpet cleaning (bonnet and extraction) and VCT flooring.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma preferred (not required).

Needs to have experience w/ Carpet Cleaning and VCT Flooring.

Performs the following duties: carpet cleaning (bonnet and extraction), scrubbing, stripping, sealing, waxing, and spray buffing had surface floors.Must be able to operate high and low speed buffers up to 24 inch and 3000 RPM propane burnishing equipment.Follow established safety precautions.Must be able to operate and maintain all floor cleaning/finishing equipment to include but not limited to floor buffer/burnishes, water extraction machine, and carpet cleaning equipment.Follow established safety precautions for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility.Job Requirements:Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.Excellent work historyTeam focused approach requiring ability to work with others and take directionPhysically demanding fast-paced environment requiring ability to work efficiently with attention to detailReliable transportationEducation: High school degree preferred but not required.Experience: Previous floor tech experience preferred.HES Facilities Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
