Job summary

Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is hiring a Floor Tech for a long-term care nursing facility in Lake City, FL.

You will maintain all facility floors, operate cleaning equipment, and ensure a safe, clean environment for residents and staff. On-the-job training is provided, and walk-ins are welcome.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all floors by sweeping mopping vacuuming shampooing stripping waxing and buffing.
• Operate equipment such as extractor auto-scraper high speed buffer shop vac and steam machine.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and store after use.
• Dispose of all garbage throughout the facility.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.

Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently recruiting experienced Floor Tech for long term care nursing facility in Lake City, FL.

Lake City Nursing Home. 298 SW Prosperity Place, Lake City Florida 32024.

Floor Tech Key Duties

• Maintain all floors by sweeping mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.


• Various pieces of equipment are properly and safely operated such as extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.


• Maintains equipment in good working condition and stores properly in designated locations after each use.


• Dispose of all garbage throughout the facility.


• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Floor Tech Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).


• Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus.


• Prior experience working in a nursing home, hospital or healthcare environment a plus.


• Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.
