Job summary

Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is seeking an experienced Floor Tech for a long-term care nursing facility in Rome, NY. This full-time role requires operating floor machinery and maintaining clean, safe flooring across the facility.

Shifts include Day and Evening, with alternating weekends and holidays. On-the-job training is provided, and benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, 401K, and paid orientation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in Environmental Services or housekeeping preferred.
• Prior healthcare environment experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and buffers.

Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently recruiting experienced Floor Tech for long term care nursing facility in Rome, NY.

Floor Tech Key Duties

• Maintain all floors by sweeping mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.


• Various pieces of equipment are properly and safely operated such as extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.


• Maintains equipment in good working condition and stores properly in designated locations after each use.


• Dispose of all garbage throughout the facility.


• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Floor Tech Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).


• Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus.


• Prior experience working in a nursing home, hospital or healthcare environment a plus.


• Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.
